Chamisa Colvin, MPA, CFRE

System Director, Office of National Grants

Chamisa Colvin, system director for national grants of Catholic Health Initiatives National Foundation (CHIF), is responsible for philanthropic partnership development and the acquisition of grant funding for national initiatives across the Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) system. Ms. Colvin is an expert in foundation and corporate relations, with over ten years of executive-level experience in fundraising, program development, and nonprofit operations. Prior to joining Catholic Health Initiatives (the third largest nonprofit healthcare system in the US, operating in 17 states, comprised of 100 hospitals, including three academic health centers and major teaching hospitals as well as 30 critical-access facilities; community health-services organizations; accredited nursing colleges; home-health agencies; living communities; and other facilities and services that span the inpatient and outpatient continuum of care) Ms. Colvin served as chief operations officer for the Omaha Public Library Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nebraska – Omaha
