Two CHI Saint Joseph Hospitals Receive Grants from WHAS Crusade for Children

The Saint Joseph London Foundation, London, KY, received a grant of $100,000 from WHAS Crusade for Children to establish a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Saint Joseph London. The NICU at Saint Joseph London will be one of only two Level II NICUs within the southeastern Appalachian region of Kentucky.
The Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Foundation, Mount Sterling, KY received a grant for $36,000 from WHAS Crusade for Children. The foundation will contribute an additional $25,333 to purchase new GE Giraffe OmniBeds, which have advanced medical capabilities, for the Birthing Center at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.
