CHI’s Lofton Ranked No. 20 on Modern Healthcare’s Annual List of “Most Influential” Industry Leaders
Nationally Recognized CEO Makes List for 12th Consecutive Year
Kevin E. Lofton, the chief executive officer of Catholic Health Initiatives, is ranked No. 20 on Modern Healthcare magazine’s annual list of the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.”
It marks the 12th consecutive year on the prestigious roster for Lofton, who has served since 2003 as the top executive of CHI, that nation’s third-largest nonprofit health system. Lofton, a former board chair of the American Hospital Association, has appeared on all but two of the 15 annual “who’s who in health care” lists, moving up 14 slots from last year’s ranking of No. 34. He is the only Colorado hospital executive on the prestigious list.
President Obama is ranked No. 1 by the national magazine.
