Penrose St. Francis Breast Center is a CHI Breast Center of Excellence

Congratulations to Penrose St. Francis Breast Center, Colorado Springs, CO, on achieving the CHI Breast Center of Excellence designation after earning three national recognitions: NQMBC Quality Breast Center of Excellence, American College of Radiology BICOE (Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence) and NAPBC Accredited (National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers).
In April, the Penrose Breast Center completed the three-year process of becoming a NQMBC Quality Breast Center of Excellence. The Center for Women’s Imaging at Penrose Hospital has maintained the American College of Radiology BICOE accreditation since 2011. And, the breast center has been accredited by the NAPBC since 2011, and was most recently reaccredited for three years in October 2017.
