CHI Memorial to Host Southeast Regional Spine Symposium

CHI Memorial will present the 2019 Southeast Regional Spine Symposium on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in Chattanooga, TN.

Symposium topics include: the basics of spinal anatomy and review of radiographic analysis of the spine; ABC’s of the physical exam of the spine and SI pain treatment; evaluation and treatment of common adult spinal fractures; diagnosis and management of cervical radiculopathy and myelopathy; non-surgical management of low back pain; surgical management of low back pain; adult spinal deformity; motion preservation surgery; herniated disc management; and pain management during the opioid crisis.

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of internal medicine physicians, family medicine physicians, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, nurses, interns and residents in primary care specialties, and medical and nursing students involved in the care of patients with spine disorders and diseases. Alex Sielatycki, MD, and David Wiles, MD, are the program directors. A maximum of four AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ have been requested.
