Our Hospital Medicine Service Line is establishing leading practices for efficient, effective hospital care and developing strong leadership for hospital medicine throughout our health system.

Cardiovascular Care

A healthy cardiovascular system is a foundation for overall health and wellness, and our cardiovascular service line works to develop more effective ways to deliver top-quality care. This service line helps extend the exceptional and innovative cardiac services in our academic medical centers and heart institutes to all of the communities we serve.

Home Care

Consolidated Health Services (CHS) is our national home health services provider, delivering care to patients who are rehabilitating or managing chronic conditions in the comfort of their homes. CHS is developing and expanding home care programs that serve patients with efficiency and innovation. CHS also provides patient transportation and home infusion therapy services.

Reference Laboratory Services

CHI is part owner of Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML), Spokane, WA, a full-service medical reference lab operated by Providence Health & Services. PAML provides expertise in unusual, complex and specialized tests that most hospitals can’t perform in their own labs. PAML performs more than eight million tests a year and has several joint venture partnerships for outreach laboratories.
