St. John’s partners with Mercy Housing Midwest to build senior housing

St. John’s Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Mo., is entering into a venture with Mercy Housing Midwest, Omaha, Neb., to develop housing for seniors in Joplin. The facility will feature about 40 independent living apartments and will be located on the St. John’s campus, close to home health, rehabilitation and emergency care services. Mercy Housing Midwest is part of Mercy Housing System, a national, non-profit developer of affordable housing.
