Friendship, Inc., Fargo, N.D.

Friendship, Inc., Fargo, N.D., provides a wide range of services to people with disabilities. Residential programs include nine intermediate care facilities for individuals with mental retardation and related conditions. These are group residential settings for ages from seven to 81 ranging in occupancy from six to 12 individuals. Friendship also offers individualized supported living arrangements to help people with disabilities to live alone or with a roommate. Family support services are designed to prevent out-of-home placements for children, facilitate the return of children to family settings, reduce the stress of families in caring for family members with special needs and promote cost-effective delivery of services. Five vocational programs focus on skills needed for the workplace and daily life.
