U.S. News names Good Samaritan in Cincinnati one of the country’s best

Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, ranked among just 173 medical facilities on the 11th annual list of America’s Best Hospitals published by U.S. News and World Report. The magazine’s annual review of hospitals lists the top facilities in each of 17 medical specialties. Good Samaritan was recognized in three categories: heart, hormonal disorders and neurology/neurosurgery. The hospitals are ranked based on a wide range of criteria, including the number of procedures performed, reputation, mortality, technology, nursing care and the results of other surveys. Of the more than 6,200 hospitals analyzed, less than 3 percent made the cut in one or more specialty areas.
