Leaders take new roles at St. Mary in Langhorne and Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia

Greg Wozniak has assumed full-time leadership of St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., as president and chief executive officer, while Patricia DeAngelis has been named president and chief operating officer of Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. Wozniak previously served as president and chief executive officer of both market-based organizations, while DeAngelis most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Nazareth.

"Both Greg and Pat bring great skills and expertise to their new roles," said Dan Sinnott, senior vice president of operations for Catholic Health Initiatives. "Focusing on a single organization will enable them to work more closely with their respective boards of directors, medical staffs and employees to lead each organization."

Wozniak, who joined Catholic Health Initiatives in March 1999, was previously president of Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He has master’s degrees in health administration and business administration from Washington University, St. Louis, and a bachelor’s degree in business from John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio.

DeAngelis joined St. Agnes Medical Center, Philadelphia, in 1993 as vice president of patient services, and also served as vice president of operations and nursing at St. Agnes, Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Del. She has a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Wharton Nursing Management Program there. She also has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Hahnemann University, Philadelphia.
