Employees Celebrate Day of Advocacy at Project C.U.R.E.
Employees of the Denver national office participated in a “Day of Advocacy” at Project C.U.R.E., sorting medical supplies on April 21 and 29. Project C.U.R.E. distributes donated medical supplies to resource-limited communities in more than 130 countries. Thanks to the help of 16,000 volunteers nationwide, two to three semi-truck trailer-sized containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.'s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved areas abroad to provide free care and train local health care staff.
