2012 Annual Report Now Online; New Overview Brochure Available

The story of CHI’s 2012 fiscal year, “Results: Better Access, Better Outcomes, Better Care,” is now online. The Annual Report includes a financial narrative and CHI’s balance sheet for 2012, but the report is much more than numbers. The interactive report is enhanced by photos and videos that present the stories of CHI employees, physicians and patients. Features include:

  • A cancer patient sharing her experiences in a clinical trial
  • A clinical research nurse on how tissue samples make it possible for CHI’s Center for Translational Research to advance cancer care
  • The chief medical officer of Heart Clinic Arkansas on why the state’s largest cardiology group joined St. Vincent’s physician enterprise
  • The leaders of a coordinated care pilot that enhanced patient care
  • The chief executive officer of Mercy Medical Center, Roseburg, OR, on the hospital’s collaboration with physicians to develop one of the first accountable care organizations in Oregon
  • A look at building a healthy community in Albuquerque by starting with its youngest members

All members of the CHI family are invited to share the link to the annual report website.

In addition, an updated CHI overview brochure is available. The eight-page brochure is a quick introduction to CHI for any audience. It includes facts and figures about CHI; brief descriptions of major initiatives and continuing programs; Mission and Vision statements; core values and core strategies; and a list of CHI facilities and organizations, national offices and national service lines.
