Little Rock, Cincinnati Clinics to Participate in CMS Primary Care Initiative

Primary care practices associated with St. Vincent Health System, Little Rock, AR, and TriHealth, Cincinnati, OH, are among 500 practices that will participate in a provider-payer coordination pilot program of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPCI) is designed to improve care for Medicare beneficiaries and other patients. The program offers bonus payments to participating physicians who better coordinate their patients’ care.
