St. Joseph’s-Dickinson Celebrates 100 Years
St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center is celebrating 100 years of service to the community, beginning with an open house event held on March 29. The hospital admitted its first patient on April 4, 1912, and has been through many changes since then. Today, Saint Joseph’s Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center. One-third of the staff has worked at the hospital for more than 20 years, and the staff brings more than 3,000 combined years of health care experience to the community. To celebrate the centennial, events will take place throughout the coming months.
