CHI Foundation Office Structure is Reorganized
The CHI Foundation, Colorado Springs, CO, has increased the level of support services provided to foundations and the level of philanthropic activity across the system. To build on this success and more closely align with CHI’s operating model, CHI is reorganizing the CHI Foundation’s office structure.
The reorganization includes a new president for the CHI Foundation, Jay Maloney, who started his job on April 2. The reorganization will also eliminate the foundation’s regional vice president positions, currently held by Dana Todsen, Dale Wallenius and Cindy Rooney. Todsen and Wallenius will be with the foundation through the end of June. Rooney will stay with CHI as part of the Fargo Division.
CHI will create a Chief Development Officer Leadership Council to advise Maloney. The council will also assure alignment of the local foundations with overall goals and performance standards. The council will be comprised of divisional leaders, including Rooney, representing the Fargo Division; Shannon Duvall, representing the Iowa Division; Doug Dillon, representing Centura Health; and others to be named.
