Lofton Among America’s Top Minority Executives in Health Care
Kevin Lofton, president and chief executive officer of CHI, was named one of the “Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare magazine. Lofton has appeared in all four biennial listings of top minority executives since the magazine began compiling the roster in 2006.
Selection of the Top 25 was based on several key criteria, including the ability to effect change in the health care industry, a willingness to share expertise, and willingness to assume a key leadership role outside one’s own organization.
A former chair of the American Hospital Association’s board of directors, Lofton is a widely recognized national leader in the health care industry. He also ranked No. 45 in Modern Healthcare’s most recent listing of the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.”
