CHI Acquires Physical/Occupational Therapy Practice in North Dakota

CHI has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of Applied Medical, Inc., one of the largest independent physical/occupational therapy practices in North Dakota. The acquisition will enable CHI to open new lines for business for the North Dakota/Minnesota Division in drug and alcohol testing, ergonomic testing, and expanded home health care services. The division will also be able to strengthen its ability to provide quality health care in western North Dakota and northwestern South Dakota.

Applied Medical operates a 16,500-square-foot clinic in Dickinson, ND, which provides occupational therapy services for the North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance program, as well as occupational health and outpatient therapy services. The clinic also provides space for other medical providers.

CHI and Applied Medical are currently working on an employee transition plan.
