New Meniscal Repair Technique Performed at Jewish Hospital
The world's first SequentTM Meniscal Repair procedure was performed on March 28 at Jewish Hospital. The procedure enables a surgeon to save a patient's meniscus tissue when repairing a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and lateral meniscus, one of the most common knee injuries. The ability to save meniscus tissue helps reduce re-injury rates and preserve the functionality of the knee. For more information, contact Barbara Mackovic.
