Rowan Authors Article on Mission, Quoted on Health Reform Law
The March-April issue of Health Progress features an article by Michael Rowan, executive vice president and chief operating officer of CHI. In "Amid Promise and Peril, Hold Mission High," Rowan discusses the potential effect of health care reform on the Catholic health ministry and the role of mission and mission leaders in Catholic health facilities.
Rowan and Dean Swindle, executive vice president for business services and chief financial officer of CHI - were quoted in a second article in the magazine. The article, "Stay in Control as Budgets Change," focuses on how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 will affect hospital budgets and financial forecasts during the next several years.
