CHI Leaders Speak at Investor Conference

Kevin Lofton, president and chief executive officer of CHI, recently spoke at the eleventh annual Non-Profit Health Care Investor Conference about CHI's progress at a time when health care providers across the U.S. are preparing for health care reform. Presenting along with Lofton were Michael Rowan, executive vice president and chief operating officer; Dean Swindle, executive vice president of business services and chief financial officer; and Stephen Moore, MD, senior vice president and chief medical officer.

The annual Non-Profit Health Care Investor Conference is sponsored by the AHA Health Forum, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and Citi. It gives nonprofit health providers an opportunity to present their organization's performance and progress to bond investors.

The CHI executive team presented information about the elements of CHI's sustained performance improvement, strategic plan for information technology and workplan for improved clinical outcomes. They also discussed CHI's improved balance sheet and plans for capital spending. The conference, held in New York, NY, attracted approximately 600 attendees.
