Mercy College to Collaborate on $3.4 Million Grant

Mercy College of Health Sciences announced that a $3.4 million grant submission to the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration has been funded. The grant will be used to create new curricula models for the delivery of health care education to legal refugees and immigrants living in Iowa. The project is a collaborative effort by the Iowa Department of Workforce Development and the Iowa Bureau of Refugee Services, with employment partners that include Mercy Health Network, Bishop Drumm Retirement Center and other health care providers.
