Yankees Star Speaks for Powered by ME!

Baseball star Alex Rodriguez spoke for the Powered by ME! program of St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, MD. With him are Congressman Elijah Cummings, Nathaniel Gibson of Milford Mill Academy and Mike Gimbel of Powered by ME!

Alex Rodriguez, third baseman for the New York Yankees, joined forces with the Powered by ME! program of St. Joseph Medical Center to inspire young athletes to pursue safe, fair and drug-free athletic careers. Rodriguez spoke to 500 student athletes at Milford Mill Academy in Baltimore, MD. The baseball star, who has admitted to past steroid use, contacted Elijah Cummings, congressional representative from Maryland, to volunteer for Powered by ME!. Cummings is a founding cosponsor and strong supporter of the anti-steroid program. Powered by ME! has reached more than 25,000 student athletes, coaches and parents.
