Center for Formation and Organizational Effectiveness Announced


CHI has announced the Center for Formation and Organizational Effectiveness, which will integrate the functions of knowledge transfer and learning, leadership development, leadership formation, system education and talent management. The role of the center is:

  • To form leaders and the workforce in the mission, vision and core values of the organization.
  • To develop learning strategies and organizational capabilities to create a high-performance culture and accelerate implementation of key initiatives.

The center will operate within the national office Mission and Human Resources Groups. An advisory committee will be formed to oversee the strategic alignment and performance of the center. The center’s leadership will include Patrick Gaughan in his new role as vice president, Center for Formation and Organizational Effectiveness; Colleen Elliott in her new role as vice president, organizational effectiveness; and Lou Forbringer, who continues as vice president, strategic talent management.
