Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare Volunteers Help Habitat for Humanity
Employees from Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH), helped to rehabilitate a Louisville home for Habitat for Humanity. Since February, the JHSMH employees worked on weekends with volunteers from two other organizations to rebuild the house from the foundation up. The new homeowner, Joy Leavell – selected by the local Habitat for Humanity organization – is a unit secretary at Jewish Hospital. Leavell has volunteered more than 400 community service hours herself. She will live in the house with her three-year-old son. For more information, contact Barbara Mackovic, email@example.com.
