Our Lady of Peace Opens Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities
Our Lady of Peace, a service of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare, opened Kentucky’s first psychiatric residential treatment facilities for children with intensive special needs on April 30. The two facilities were designed and built to serve children ages 12 to 17 who are stepping down from inpatient psychiatric hospital care. These patients have psychiatric conditions and other special needs, including mental retardation, autism or brain injuries. Each facility includes nine beds, a kitchen, a dining area, baths and a classroom. For more information, Barbara Mackovic at email@example.com.
