Haynes Named President of Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East
Ken Haynes was named president of Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph East, Lexington, Ky. He will also be president of Saint Joseph Jessamine, now under construction and scheduled to open in December 2008. Haynes will begin his new job in March. He will succeed Gene Woods, who is now president and chief executive officer of Saint Joseph Health System of Kentucky.
Haynes is currently senior vice president and chief operating officer of St. Vincent Health System, Little Rock, Ark. Prior to St. Vincent, he worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., the flagship for 15-hospital Baptist Memorial Health System. “I am honored to be selected for this distinguished position,” said Haynes. “Saint Joseph has such a strong legacy of providing high quality patient care for Lexington and the surrounding communities.”
