St. Joseph Donates Former Campus to School District

St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, Pa., finalized the donation of its former campus in downtown Reading to the Reading School District. Keith Stamm, president of the school board, and John Morahan, president and chief executive officer of St. Joseph Regional Health Network, signed the documents that finalized the donation on November 5. The donated property is valued at $8 million. The site will be used to build a state-of-the-art junior high school, called the Citadel, which will accommodate up to 3,000 students on the 14-acre property.
