Tree Planted in Memory of Dan Clark
The Northern Kentucky office of Catholic Health Initiatives provided a sweet bay magnolia tree that was planted on May 24 in memory of Dan Clark, vice president of human resources for Catholic Health Initiatives, who died on
February 26. The tree was planted on the campus of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth near Bardstown, Ky., outside Crimmins Hall, which previously housed the offices of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Health System, one of the predecessor systems of Catholic Health Initiatives. The planting ceremony was attended by Dan’s wife, Kathi; her mother; and Dan and Kathi’s grandson, Jaylin. Others in attendance included Elizabeth Wendeln, SCN, member of the Catholic Health Initiatives Board of Stewardship Trustees, and Bruce Klockars, president and chief executive officer of Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown.
