St. Anthony’s Celebrates 80 Years

The Benedictine Sisters of Fort Smith, Ark., established St. Anthony’s in 1925. Today, the 35-bed, full-service medical center offers 24-hour emergency care, cardiology services, surgery, a women’s health center and specialty clinics.


St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Morrilton, Ark., celebrated 80 years of providing health care to the Morrilton area with a reception held December 5. Speakers included Phil Matthews, president of the Arkansas Hospital Association; Ken Haynes, chief operating officer of St. Vincent Health System; and Jonathan Davis, administrator and chief executive officer of St. Anthony’s. The Benedictine Sisters of Fort Smith, Ark., established St. Anthony’s in 1925.
