St. Vincent in Little Rock Expands Nurse Development Partnership

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) extended its partnership with St. Vincent Health System, Little Rock, to help ease a statewide shortage of nurses. The partnership will provide $3,000-per-semester scholarships for 40 nursing students, up from 20 last year. The nursing students, taught by UALR faculty, will receive much of their training at a new computer lab at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center.
