Good Samaritan in Kearney is Nebraska’s First Accredited Chest Pain Center

Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Neb., received the designation of Accredited Chest Pain Center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Good Samaritan is the first accredited Chest Pain Center in Nebraska and one of only 150 in the nation. “Being an accredited center means we follow stricter protocol-driven and systematic guidelines that allow a reduction in time to treatment during early stages of a heart attack, when treatments are most effective,” said Michael Ronning, director of cardiovascular services at Good Samaritan.
