Cardiology Services Now Available at Mercy in Nampa

Mercy Medical Center, Nampa, Idaho, recently added interventional cardiology to its service offerings. A team of cardiologists who have moved their practices to Nampa will work closely with the hospital to provide the new service line, which was not previously available in Nampa. Mercy has made a significant investment in necessary equipment and staff, eliminating the need for local patients to travel to distant hospitals for interventional cardiology treatment. "Each minute lost in the critical early stages of a heart problem can mean lost heart muscle function," said Maryann Reese, vice president of patient care services and operations at Mercy. "Mercy is serious about its commitment to helping Nampa deal with the lack of these services, and we've worked diligently to provide the solution."
