Dear Catholic Health Initiatives Family:

In this presidential election year, our register-and-vote campaign, My Voice, My Vote, will bring all those associated with Catholic Health Initiatives together as a community that is actively involved in the political process at the national, state and local levels. This is one expression of our commitment to advocacy, which is inextricably linked to our mission and vision of building healthy communities with specific concern for persons who are most vulnerable. I would like to stress two important points about My Voice, My Vote. One is that it is a voluntary effort. We know how busy your days are, so we want to make it easy for you to implement this campaign. From now through November, we will provide template materials and other guidance to facilitate your participation. Second, My Voice, My Vote is non-partisan. The goal of the program is to increase participation in voting, not to influence votes. We encourage all voters to learn about the issues so they can make their own judgments about each candidate. In choosing occupations of service, you and all of Catholic HealthInitiatives’ employees, physicians and volunteers have already demonstrated your commitment to improving the lives of others. Becoming involved in the political process by learning about the issues and voting is another way we can serve our communities. Thank you for your support of this effort to get out the vote.
