The Catholic Health Initiatives Strategic Planning Steering Committee met February 11 and 12 in Denver to begin the process of updating the organization’s strategic plan. The meeting included:
The steering committee discussed a variety of future scenarios for Catholic Health Initiatives and health care in general, as well as the implications of those scenarios. "It was an excellent kick-off to our strategic planning update process," said Bob Cook, vice president of strategic planning for Catholic Health Initiatives.
The Strategic Planning Steering Committee will meet again in March and in April to continue the planning process and finalize a recommendation for Catholic Health Initiatives’ strategic plan for 2006 to 2010. The updated plan will be presented to the Board of Stewardship Trustees for review and approval in June.
