Centura Health in Denver Announces New Hospital
Centura Health, Denver, Colo., along with Summit County, Colo., announced that they have approved a letter of intent to build a new, 25-bed community hospital near Frisco, Colo. The $40 million hospital, which will be part of Centura’s St. Anthony Hospitals system, will serve residents of Summit County and the surrounding counties. Centura currently operates St. Anthony’s Summit Medical Center in Frisco, which will be incorporated into the new hospital. In addition to the 74,000-square-foot hospital, several other medical facilities are expected to be part of the campus, including a 30,000-square-foot medical office building, a 10,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center and a 11,000-square-foot community care clinic.
