HIPAA Web Site Unveils New Look

Market-based leaders who are working toward compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) can find assistance at the CHI HIPAA Central Web site, which has a new design. The Web site, created and maintained by the Catholic Health Initiatives HIPAA Program Office, has new features to facilitate the sharing of best practices across Catholic Health Initiatives. Visitors can see the results of monthly HIPAA progress surveys, review updates from the program office staff and consult reference documents from the Department of Health and Human Services and other sources. The Web site also offers forums in which visitors can post questions to the program office staff and learn more about the effect of HIPAA on the operations of market-based organizations.
