Service Center Secures Grant Funds for Training
Catholic Health Initiatives’ service center in Exton, Pa., has received a $20,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for information technology skills training. The service center also received a $3,150 grant for training in business-related computer applications, such as the Microsoft Office suite of products. "The grants will be used to equip service center employees with skills such as Internet web development and Microsoft Windows operating systems and networking," said Joe Nartowicz, chief information officer for the service center. "This will enable us to save on our training budget and/or equip more employees with the skills they need."
