Thirteen congregations of women religious either founded or later joined Catholic Health Initiatives. 

These Congregations support and influence the mission of Catholic Health Initiatives and its public juridic person, Catholic Health Care Federation.  Each Congregation appoints a person to represent them at semi-annual meetings with the Board of Stewardship Trustees.
